Maintained under the Seller Profit Guard editorial policy.
Seller Profit Guard provides independent educational calculators, checklists, and workflow templates for seller operations. Results are estimates based on user inputs and are not tax, legal, accounting, financial, or marketplace-policy advice.
Using Seller Profit Guard
Seller Profit Guard is a set of free browser tools and educational pages designed to help small sellers review operating assumptions. The tools can estimate contribution after marketplace fees, payment fees, advertising assumptions, SKU costs, labor, packaging, shipping, refunds, and other seller-entered costs. They can also help compare order rows with Payment Account or statement activity.
You may use the public tools for your own lawful seller workflow. You are responsible for the files, assumptions, rates, mappings, and decisions you enter. Check that revenue, shipping, quantity, SKU, fee, refund, and cost fields were mapped correctly before relying on any total or export.
Do not use the site to upload, submit, publish, or request buyer names, delivery addresses, private messages, payment credentials, marketplace passwords, API keys, or other information that is not required for an operating estimate. Use public dummy data or redacted examples when reporting a problem.
Estimates, sources, and changing marketplace rules
Calculators rely on assumptions you enter and on source-linked reference fields that may change. Marketplace fees, payment processing rates, advertising programs, attribution windows, tax handling, export formats, seller eligibility, shipping prices, and refund treatment can vary by country, account, product, date, and order.
A calculated result is an operating estimate, not a guarantee of profit, cash flow, search visibility, advertising performance, seller eligibility, tax treatment, or marketplace compliance. A report can be wrong when an input is missing, a CSV format changes, a private cost record is stale, or a platform applies a rule that the model does not include.
Before changing prices, advertising, shipping promises, refund policies, product availability, or account settings, verify current official platform documentation and your own account records. Seek qualified professional advice when a decision affects bookkeeping, tax, legal rights, or regulated obligations.
Local processing and information you submit
The core free CSV workflow is designed to read source files in the browser. Raw order files do not need to be uploaded to Seller Profit Guard for the local analysis. Browser-saved SKU cost libraries remain on the device unless you intentionally export or clear them.
Waitlist, feedback, and intent forms may submit an email address and coarse information that you choose to provide, such as the marketplace, requested workflow, or product interest. Analytics may record coarse product events such as page views, tool navigation, report generation, or export clicks. Those events should not include raw CSV contents, buyer identity, order details, SKU names, private costs, or profit values.
You remain responsible for protecting exports and screenshots. A report without buyer data can still reveal confidential product costs, prices, SKU strategy, target margins, or operating problems.
No affiliation or endorsement
Seller Profit Guard is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Etsy, Inc. or any other marketplace mentioned in the tools or guides. Marketplace names and trademarks are used descriptively to identify the seller workflow being discussed.
Official marketplace help pages and account records remain the authority for current fees, policies, exports, eligibility, and platform actions. A link to an official source does not create a partnership or endorsement.
Availability, changes, and planned features
The site may add, remove, correct, limit, or change tools, assumptions, exports, guides, or public routes. Temporary interruptions, browser compatibility problems, data-format changes, and calculation defects may occur. Report reproducible problems through the contact page without sending private order data.
The public tools are currently free. Any Plus plan, trial, saved history, alerts, or hosted account feature described on the pricing page is planned rather than currently available for purchase unless the pricing page explicitly states otherwise. Payment is not currently collected on this site.
Responsible use and limitations
Do not attempt to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, submit unlawful or harmful content, probe private infrastructure, bypass access controls, or use public forms to transmit secrets or private communications. Do not present Seller Profit Guard estimates as official marketplace statements or professional advice.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Seller Profit Guard is provided on an as-available basis without a promise that every calculation, source, route, export, or feature will always be complete, current, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular business decision. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Questions, corrections, and updates
For product questions, correction requests, or removal of a submitted email or feedback record, contact [email protected]. Describe the page, tool, or submission involved and use the same email address when requesting removal. Do not attach raw order files or private buyer information.
Material product and content changes are recorded on the changelog. The date at the top of this page shows the latest published revision. Continued use after a published change means you are using the current version of the public tools and information.
