Seller Profit Guard changelog
Last updated: 2026-07-12
Maintained under the Seller Profit Guard editorial policy.
This changelog records meaningful product, source, privacy, SEO, and content changes so sellers can see when public tools and guidance were reviewed instead of relying on an undated promise.
July 12, 2026 — First content refresh and growth batch
Rebuilt the existing Shopify fee and app cost calculator guide around observed GSC demand, preserving its canonical URL while expanding cost coverage, official sources, worked examples, original diagrams, internal links, and tool conversion paths.
Published a new What Is an Etsy SKU guide for observed SKU definition queries. Its intent is separated from SKU-level profit and variation-risk pages, and it connects naming decisions to inventory, fulfillment, cost records, and cleanup.
- Shopify guide: more than 1,800 rendered words, four original diagrams, and four official Shopify sources.
- Etsy SKU guide: more than 1,800 rendered words, four original diagrams, and four official Etsy sources.
- Indexable quality sitemap increased from 25 to 27 URLs.
- Legacy TikTok Shop and break-even ROAS guides remain noindex until equivalent refresh gates are met.
July 12, 2026 — Authority, accessibility, and AI reference expansion
Added a source-oriented guide hub, calculation methodology, editorial and corrections policy, full AI reference file, explanatory diagrams, route breadcrumbs, richer article metadata, and analytics loading for static guide and trust pages.
Replaced active-trial language with transparent Plus research wording across the multilingual interface. Plus remains unavailable for purchase, there is no active trial, and the site does not collect payment.
- All 25 indexable sitemap routes pass canonical, indexability, content-depth, and internal-link checks.
- All interactive form controls have accessible names in the mobile browser gate.
- CSP is deployed in Report-Only mode before any enforcement decision.
- Original profit-flow, reconciliation, and local-first privacy diagrams are available with descriptive alt text.
- llms.txt remains 100/100 and llms-full.txt is now available.
July 12, 2026 — AdSense quality and index cleanup
Prepared a smaller quality-controlled sitemap, consolidated overlapping guide intent, added strict unknown-route handling, strengthened the static homepage and core tool explanations, and clarified the Seller Profit Guard brand entity.
Expanded the Terms and Disclaimer page, added a user-facing pricing page, removed the planned Plus product from purchasable Offer markup, and added visible editorial ownership to content pages.
- Core product and guide URLs remain available through stable canonical paths.
- Incomplete localized and thin utility routes are excluded from the indexable sitemap.
- Public tools remain free; planned Plus is not currently for sale.
- No private seller, buyer, or order data was used for these changes.
July 7, 2026 — Technical SEO and content depth
Deployed the technical SEO and AEO baseline, including explicit AI crawler management, improved llms.txt, stronger security headers, canonical route checks, Article structured data, and WordPress probe blocking.
Expanded six Etsy seller guides and the core About, Privacy, CSV Data Privacy, and How It Works pages with source links, examples, tables, checklists, and visible update dates.
Maintenance policy
Future entries should record changes that affect calculations, source assumptions, privacy behavior, public availability, pricing claims, or major content guidance. Minor formatting changes do not need a separate release entry.
Marketplace rules and fees can change independently of this site. A changelog entry shows when Seller Profit Guard changed; it does not guarantee that every external rule remained unchanged after that date.
Next step: Read the editorial approach.
This is operational planning help, not tax, accounting, legal, financial, or platform-policy advice. Review the Terms and disclaimer, and verify current platform rules and fee assumptions before changing prices.
